Cleaner silences and seams, file pickers that remember your folders, and recordings that no longer get stuck syncing.

  • No more stuck syncing

Recordings can no longer get stuck on "still syncing". Any recording already affected heals itself the next time you open it.

  • Cleaner silence and room tone

Gaps are rebuilt from the cleanest nearby room tone, so you no longer hear a thump at the seams around your edits.

  • File pickers remember your folders

Import and export dialogs each remember the last folder you used, so you stop starting from the top every time.

  • See music detection progress

A progress toast follows music detection while you edit, so you know when it is done.

New

  • Music detection shows its progress in a toast on the edit page, ending with a Finishing up spinner once it reaches 100%.
  • File pickers remember the last folder you used, separately for each kind of dialog.
  • The collapsed player bar shows a timestamp on hover, so you can read the scrub position without expanding the timeline.

Improved

  • The Adjust dialog has been redesigned.
  • Playback and export always use the separated voice, music and background tracks, even with every level at 0 dB.
  • Silence and room tone are rebuilt from the cleanest nearby room tone instead of repeating the gap's own audio, removing the thump at seams.
  • Crossfades around edits are smoother, and breaths no longer leak into gaps that should be silent.
  • Background music shortens to match your edits and fades out smoothly.
  • Fix timing is more reliable around the edges of an edit.
  • Clearer message when sign-in is refused because your email address has not been verified yet.
  • Windows: the installer is fully RØDE branded and the app icon has been updated.

Fixed

  • Recordings can no longer get permanently stuck on "still syncing", and recordings already affected recover when you open them.
  • Missing local audio, including history audio, is downloaded again automatically.
  • Local disk space is reclaimed properly, and permanently deleting a recording removes its files.
  • Signing out removes all of your local data.
  • Repeated identical notifications collapse into a single toast.
  • The login error banner looks right in the light theme.
