APHEX and Compellor work on Windows, a first-run tour, and shortcut hints in tooltips.
APHEX and Compellor on Windows
The effects now change your audio in the installed Windows app. In earlier versions they had no effect.
A guided first-run tour
New to the app? A short tour points out the composition selector, topics, the right-side tabs and the editor.
Shortcuts in tooltips
Hover a button in the title bar or a popover to see its keyboard shortcut.
Insert silence anywhere
You no longer need to select text first. With nothing selected, **Insert Silence** adds it at the playhead.
New
- A first-run tour walks you through the composition selector, topics, the right-side tabs and the editor.
- The sidebar has an Upload row, and you can create a folder from the Folders header.
- Title-bar and popover buttons show their keyboard shortcut in the tooltip.
Improved
- Every tab on the editor's right side shares one layout, so they size, inset and scroll consistently.
- Insert Silence no longer needs a transcript selection. With nothing selected it inserts at the playhead.
- Controls use the plain arrow cursor. The hand pointer is kept for text links.
- Knobs and sliders ignore the mouse wheel, so scrolling past a control no longer changes its value.
- Tighter spacing in the APHEX panel.
- Deleting words crossfades more smoothly when playback resumes on the word before the cut.
Fixed
- Windows: the transcript no longer reflows during playback as the highlighted word moves along.
- Adjust dialog: it stays on the right target after a change, shows accurate neighbouring words, and keeps a neighbour visible even when it is fully used.
- Undo and redo work inside the correct-word field, and pasting into it no longer starts a correction.
- Jump-to-word and follow-along scrolling no longer fight each other.
- The APHEX Auto button stays clickable while APHEX is off.
- Windows: APHEX and Compellor now work in the installed app. In earlier versions they had no effect on your audio.
- Fixing a word's timing in the Adjust dialog is saved properly instead of being lost on the next save.
- The podcast title matches its composition label.
- The speaker label on the timeline is centred properly.
